One of the most well known chapters in the Bible about womanhood and motherhood is Proverbs. Proverbs 31 to be exact.

She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
 “Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”
 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.

1. Proverbs 2:4

Christian Mothers Need Wisdom

If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;

Remain steadfast in your walk with God

    but a kind word cheers it up.

This verse in Proverbs is a simple reminder that anxiety and fear will weigh you down. Do what you can to not let anxiety over take you.

6. Proverbs 12:4

You are a queen!

A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown,
    but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.

When I read this verse, I can’t help but smile. The Holy Word of God–the Bible– says that a noble wife is her husband’s crown!

7. Proverbs 11:4

Stop Comparing What You Have vs. What Someone Else has

Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath,
    but righteousness delivers from death.

It’s easy to want more things.

I love this verse because it literally says that wealth is worthless when it comes to eternity. This inspiring proverb tells us how righteousness delivers from death!

Maybe you don’t have a new car, a playroom for your child, maybe you can’t pay for their college or afford a nice wedding for them. But it doesn’t matter– you are a righteous woman and that is what is important in this life.

Money doesn’t matter. Comparison doesn’t matter. Your heart for Jesus is what will carry you through into eternity.
